The Office of Institutional Compliance supports the University and its members to consistently comply with all laws, rules, regulations, and related University policies that govern the University and to enhance cultural awareness of the importance of compliance and related integrity to the University’s mission. The Ethics component of our mission complements our compliance program by promoting a culture where each member of the University community acts consistent with our University values. Focuses on efforts that promote a University culture that encourages ethical conduct and a commitment to compliance.
Addresses individual and institutional conflicts of interest that are created when University activities may be compromised by external interests.
Provides administrative policies and associated documents that align operations, set behavioral expectations across the University system, mitigate institutional risk, and communicate policy roles and responsibilities.
Provides access to and maintains delegations and sub-delegations of authority for contracts and agreements that bind the University to a legally enforceable obligation (transactional authorities).
